I have been making this quick and easy dessert for 28 years. It is great for potlucks and unexpected company. It can be in the oven in less than 10 minutes-just keep the ingredients on hand. It has become a family favorite.
*I find that the whole box of cake mix was too much. I save about 1/2 cup from each time I make the recipe in a zip-type bag in freezer. When I have added about 2 1/2 cups total, I have enough for another dessert. The dry cake mix is also good to make streusel toppings for muffins; just add 1 tablespoon of softened margarine and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
