  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place your ribs in a baking dish that is long enough to handle them and deep enough to cover. Rub the spices into the meat then add water to the dish just high enough to touch the sides of the ribs.
  • Cover with foil and place into the oven for one hour. Remove the ribs, flip them over and rub spices into the bottom of the ribs, re-cover and place back into the oven for 45 min to an hour.
  • Remove from oven and up the heat to 400°F. Drain the water from the dish, flip the ribs back to top side up and pour your BBQ sauce over the top. Return to oven uncovered for 20 to 30 min. Ribs will be tender and juicy inside & crispy outside.


I like to get the beef ribs with just a little fat on them. The prep time on these is short, but the bake time is loooong. It's totally worth it though. I didn't list the exact amounts for anything as it varies on your tastes. I love spicy stuff, but play with your favorite spices and see what works best for you. What's important is the bake times, that's what makes the ribs fall off the bone.
