  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Melt butter in a deep dish pie plate in oven while it's preheating. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, Add milk and mix with a spoon till well mixed.
  • Remove plate with melted butter in it, let cool for a minute. Pour batter mixture over butter and add can of fruit (you can drop fruit all over the batter or in the center). The crust will be on top when it's finished baking.
  • Place in oven and bake for 1 hour or until the crust is on top and no longer white. (Might place on a cookie sheet while baking to catch any spill over.)

Special Equipment Needed


This is the easiest cobbler recipe that calls for ingredients that I have on hand and I don't have to know how to make a crust. It is best served warm in a bowl with ice cream, Half-and-Half or milk.
