  • Peel the fruit, if using fresh fruit and appropriate and cut into pieces.
  • Put all ingredients into a blender and puree them together until smooth.
  • Pour into a chilled glass and serve. Add 1/2 cup of ice if you want to serve it really cold.

Notes

To make a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruit and add the ice.

    I used 2% milk instead of the soy milk, frozen strawberries and banana and did not use the almonds. Added the ice and blended all together. Turned out great. Thanks for the recipe.
