  • First prepare pie shell layering 1/2 cup (or more if desired) of the mini chocolate chips on the bottom of the shell and baking for 11 minutes or until light golden brown. Allow to cool.
  • While the shell is baking prepare the Jell-O pudding according to the box. I use the cook and serve pudding along with whole milk, for a creamier texture, but you can use any kind you want i.e.: instant, fat free. If using cook and serve allow to cool for about 10 minutes. After cooled, add coconut and pecans and mix together.
  • Pour Jell-O pudding mixture into cooled pie shell, and top with remaining chocolate chips. May serve immediately or as I like it cooled for at least 2 hours. After serving top with a dollop of whip topping and enjoy!


Any of the ingredients can be supstituted for lite, instant, fat free, anything your heart desires..
