  • Take one package of frozen strawberries and remove the lid and the wrapping on top. Uncovered put it in the microwave for 1 minute. This is just to get it lose from the container. You do not want them fully thawed out, because you want the smoothie to have an icy texture to it.
  • After it has come loose from the container, empty the contents into a blender. Take a knife and cut the frozen strawberry into bits, otherwise it will not blend to a good consistency. Repeat with other package.
  • After you have done so, pour the orange juice over it making sure it comes about an inch over the strawberries. Blend on high speed until smooth. You can add more juice as you blend if you desire a thinner consistency.

Notes

This is a great snack for your family and especially your kids. It tastes really good but it is completely healthy. The strawberries though they have sugar added, but they have no fat, no saturated fat, and no cholesterol. And it will give your kids their vitamin C. So while they think they are eating dessert they are actually eating something that is going to benefit their bodies. Enjoy !!!
