  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Stretch biscuits to about 3 inch circles and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Cut out centers (about 1 1/2 inch round) Brush all with melted buter and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Dollop generously into the center of each biscuit. Place the center cutout back on top of the filling.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until tops are golden brown. Remove from oven and cool on rack. Remove with spatula when cooled. Enjoy!

Special Equipment Needed


All of the filling might not fit into the biscuits so the number can be adjusted. Other types of fruit can be substituted. Low fat ingredients can be used to reduce calories. I have also used this recipe substituting spinach for the fruit and omitting the sugar. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
