Instead of sugar, use a sugar substitute. Also to cut down on fat, use the 1/3 less fat pie crusts, and the 1/3 less fat cream cheese. I have also tried the low sodium peanut butter and my family didn't know the difference.
Last but not least you could freeze this pie. Just make sure to set the pie out of freezer 20-30 minutes before serving.
I have made this pie again and again. Friends and family always request it. I think it is easier to adapt to less fat and calories. I substitute splenda for the sugar.
These were the best peanut butter pies ever!! I made it with Splenda and 1/3 less fat cream cheese and I drizzled suger free chocolate syrup over the top of the pies. You could not tell the difference!! Great quick pie recipe. Thanks
