  • Cover bottom of pie plate with cheese. Lightly mist chicken with water and put in pie plate. Press as much cheese as you can on the chicken and turn over for other side.
  • Meanwhile heat frying pan with oil until very hot over med. high heat. Add chicken carefully. (To use up any leftover cheese in the pie plate, I usually sprinkle it on the side that is up).
  • Cook for about 5 min. on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.


We love this chicken because the cheese makes the best crust ever. Because there is no flour, eggs, or bread crumbs it is also healthier since the cheese is low fat and you don't have to deep fry it. I like to serve it with rice pilaf and a green veggie.
