Toward the end of melting the marshmallows in the chocolate-peanut butter blend, the mixture gets very stiff. I use a heavy wooden spoon to stir the recipe. You can experiment with this recipe by using milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet chips.
For a different taste try adding a cup of peanut butter chips to the chocolate chips and peanut butter. For thinner squares, use a 9 x 13 inch pan--this increases the number of squares to about 24.
