  • Bake frozen pie crust at 400 for about 15 minutes (or until light brown) and cool.
  • Prepare your selection of added ingredients while cooking and cooling pie crust.
  • Beat eggs in a large bowl, add cream and spice to your taste. Beat through and set aside.
  • Add filling ingredients to the bottom of the pie, making sure to cover the bottom. Pour on eggs, slowly, to about 1/4 inch below the crust line.
  • Carefully place into a preheated 400 degree oven and bake uncovered for 50 minutes. Turn oven off and let cool if not completely set. Serve warm, not hot.

Notes

VERY easy. I usually make this for Sunday breakfast and then take some to work Monday or Tuesday. So comforting. And, my secret... my husband thinks I can really cook! HA!
