  • In a bowl, combine the sausage, water chestnuts, mushrooms, garlic, A.1. Steak Sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Toss well.
  • Place a rounded 1/2 teaspoon of filling in the center of each skin; dampen the edges with water and a dab of cornstarch and fold over to form a triangle. Press out the air and seal the edges.
  • A few at a time, place wontons in boiling water and remove with a slotted spoon when they float to the top. This should be about 2 minutes.

Special Equipment Needed


These wontons can be deep-fried, steamed or boiled. They can also be added to soup. I boiled them for my 35th birthday party and served them in upside down colored drink parasols.
