I made this recipe, addiing the milk on the crust, BUT, I prefer my sisters' recipe from 30 years ago, 1 stick butter, adding chopped nuts and pouring the milk as the last layer. Doesn't fall apart, easier to eat.
This recipe calls for way too much butter. I made the bars, but they turned out to be a pan of greasy much. I have made grahm cracker crust before and I really thought it looked wrong. If you want to make the recipe I would suggest using 1 1/2 sticks of butter instead of 1 1/2 Cups.
