  • Add all ingredients (except cheese) to large pot with drained beef in it. (Add 1 - 2 more cups of water, depending on what consistency you like your soup.)
  • Stir and let simmer for 10 minutes or until heated through. (If you add potatoes you will need to watch those for correct tenderness.)
  • Cube up a small amount of Kraft Velveeta Cheese in the bottom of a soup bowl and ladle soup over it, serve with crackers or a sandwich!! Enjoy!

Notes

I stumbled upon this one day when I needed to make something for half a dozen people in an hour's time and NO groceries!!! I went through the pantry and literally was thinking, what can I throw in a pot and have turn out okay??? Well, this stuff worked and it was a hit throughout! I have also been known to use a V-8 in place of tomato sauce, or stewed tomatoes instead of Ro*Tel......just whatever happens to be on hand!!!!
