  • In skillet place chops and 1/2 cup balsamic dressing. Cook pork chops about 6-7 minutes each side. While chops are cooking prepare carrots and apples.
  • When chops are done remove and set aside keeping remaining juices in skillet. Add carrots, 1 cup water and remaining balsamic dressing. Cook carrots about 8-10 minutes (or until tender) on medium-low heat.
  • The last 2 minutes of cooking time add apples and chops basting with juices in pan. Serve over rice and drizzle with remaining juices.


For a side dish, add a salad tossed with apples. I made this one cold fall night after picking apples. With the fire cracking in the background, dim lights and a glass of wine this can really win a man’s heart!
