  • Stir margarine, sugar and milk in large saucepan. Bring to full boil stir constantly. Boil for 5 minutes or until 234 degrees F on candy thermometer. Remove from heat.
  • Gradually stir in chocolate or peanut butter until melted. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into 9 x 9 buttered pan. Let cool at room temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this recipe all the time for my husband and he loves it. I had not made it for him in a while as he was diagnosed with diabetes but has since gotten all of that under control and can not add small amounts of sweet back to his diet. So I made it for a surprise for Christmas. It was smooth and the taste was amazing as I remember. The trick is to beat it really well before you add the vanilla and then quickly poor it into your prepared pan. That is what made it really smooth. We noticed the grainy look just before we added the vanilla but did not stop beating at all just kept beating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always Delicious We just made this fantasy fudge recipe off the Jet-Puffed marshmallow creme jar and it tastes grainy. We use this recipe every year. But Apparently this time, we didn't cook long enough. We would like to know if we can put it back in the pan and re-cook longer? Please help us! We hate to throw it away. But we can't serve it this way. Just too grainy!

It has been a long time! Some times I have made the white chocolate with peppermint. My family and friends love it so much.
