With my family I always use about 5 lb. of ground round since they are big meat eaters. And I also add about 6 bouillon cubes to make it have more of a chicken flavor. Also chicken stock can be used instead of water. I like to put this on early so it can simmer because that tends to give it a very rich taste. I serve this and maybe some garlic bread or breadsticks and it makes a meal. Also it is also good with crackers. Just perfect for a cold winters day.
This recipe has been a hit with a lot of people. I made it one time for a birthday bash and it was a hit. And it is a economical recipe and if there is any leftovers it can be heated up the next day and some say it is even better then. Or it may be frozen up to about a month.
