  • In mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese. Fold in flour and blend well. Form into 1 large ball of dough. Divide dough into 24 balls. In palm of hand, flatten each ball into a circle and press circles into miniature muffin pan to form tart shells.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F while making filling. In mixing bowl, cream butter, both sugars, and egg; mix well. Add vanilla. Spoon filling into each shell.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Cool before removing tarts from pan.

Notes

You may top these with any kind of fruit pie filling.
