  • First heat the 1/2 cup water in the microwave for 2 minutes (if you use a stove to heat the water do not let it boil). Add half of the evaporated milk to the water then mix in Cafe Francais to your liking. The eggs need to be mixed with a fork. After mixing the eggs add it to the rest of the ingredients keep mixing about 2-3 minutes.
  • In an oven resisting pan first melt the sugar and pancake syrup with a little water. This is to make a light caramel taste do not liquefy it too much. It just takes about 2-3 minutes. Completely add the mixture.
  • Put in the oven for approximately an 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the way your oven cooks. When the mixture has risen turn off the oven immediately it should all be cooked through with a light beige coffee. Wait for it to cool then put in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve the dessert put a plate over the pan and flip it.
