  • Heat the oil to a frying level.
  • Soak the pickles in the buttermilk for about 10 minutes. Mix flour, salt, pepper and dill weed. Remove pickles from buttermilk and coat in flour mixture.
  • Drop in hot oil for 3 minutes; you may need to flip each pickle over.

Notes

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. You can add crushed red pepper to the flour mixture for a little zing!
