  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9 pan with cooking spray.
  • Empty cans of fruit with juices into bottom of pan and evenly distribute on bottom of pan. Pour dry cake mix on top of fruit to cover area. Slice margarine in pats and place on top of cake mix and arrange evenly
  • Bake for 1 hour or until brown and bubbly. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.

    This is one of my favorite desserts to make when unexpected guests arrive. I like to use only 1/2 a box of cake mix, a can of fruit pie filling and about 2 cups of real fruit and, after slicing the butter on top, I sprinkle a little brown sugar and cinnamon. I heard of this from my brother, of all people! It's a great dessert.
