  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix butter, garlic & parmesan cheese.
  • 2. Spread the mixture on each side of bread. Place bread on baking sheet.
  • 3. Bake 5 minutes until hot & garlic is golden brown. Cut each half into 8 slices.

I also added 2 cloves of garlic and a little salt to the mushrooms and onions while they cooked. This was really creamy and flavorful; the sauce was maybe a little thick so next time I might add 1 or 2 Tbls milk with the worcestershire. Otherwise this mushroom sauce could be made with almost any pan fried meat or even fish.

I do not like the cooking creme at all. Too weird. I make this with brown gravy, fresh mushrooms and onions. Very yummy with potatoes and a fresh salad.
