  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 12 cup tube pan or Bundt pan. Mix all ingredients (including the icing), in mixer at medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake 55-60 minutes.
  • Remove from oven to wire rack and allow cooling for 10 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and dust with powdered sugar or sift small amount cocoa over top of cake.

    A MUST TRY!!! Instead of a bundt pan, I used a 11 X 15 rectangular glass baking dish. It took less time to bake and was easy to transport to work...everyone loved it!

    I have made several times. The first time using the german chocolate cake mix, and it was very rich. I have since used a pecan cake mix and the flavor is more subtle and the icing gives it a more carmel taste. Would definitely recommend.
