  • Cook potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, and water in a large pot until tender.
  • Add bouillon cubes. Boil to dissolve. Add chicken soup. Mix well until blended.
  • Add cheese and let simmer until cheese is melted. Stir frequently so cheese wont stick. Serve.


To save time you can use cream of celery in place of cream of chicken, and you also don't have to chop celery!

    I live in a house with 9 other girls. This soup was so delectable, that each girl wanted more. The complete dinner was italian sausage, asparagus, german potato soup, and Chai Tea. I recommend this recipe to anyone. After having two bowls of this soup, our house leader said "I want to be German!"

    I tried this soup last night. Everyone in my family including my children loved it they had about 2 large bowls a piece. And was to full for meat. I made them a deal 2 new meals a month.
