* Some brands are much different in taste and it's nice to try other brands for taste differences - they also have low sodium varieties. ** If you want to vary this recipe, otherwise omit it. This recipe was created by my dear mother Grace L. Cole; who passed away in October of 1991.she was my very best friend and I still miss her greatly. She always made this recipe for her family with pride ,even after working all day and coming home exhausted. My father William; who I called; "Bill "'instead of Dad (I must have picked it up from my mother!),as a very young girl; loved this chicken dish. I now make it for my family and will pass it on to my three lovely daughters: Jennifer, Katie and Amy; and also my wonderful husband Mike, that I met in 5th grade; and now have been married to for almost 23 years now; after going steady for 8 yrs. I think my husband likes my cookin'! He’s still around! Love to all of you, and I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we all do.
