  • Defrost the dough according to instructions on the bag. Cut the skin on the sausage and break up the sausage and brown in frying pan.
  • Roll out the dough to make a rectangle till about a half inch thick. Put the slightly cooled sausage on the dough and cover it with mozzarella cheese and roll up jelly roll style. Place on a greased cookie sheet, seam side down and rub a little olive oil on top and sprinkle with crushed rosemary.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

I usually make 2 or 3 of these and you will need a pound of sausage for each loaf of bread.
