  • 1) Mix vinegar, sugar, and egg yolks in small saucepan. On medium/low heat stir until thickened, approx 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  • 2) Peel, core and dice apples put in large mixing bowl.
  • 3) Slice bananas into bite size chunks add to bowl.
  • 4) Drain pineapple and add to bowl.
  • 5) Drain and slice cherries and add to bowl.
  • 6) Wash and slice grapes and add to bowl
  • 7) Take egg mixture and add to fruit stirring gently but thoroughly.
  • 8) Add marshmallows.
  • 9) In small cold bowl whip cream with electric mixer on high until stiff, and add to fruit.
  • 10) Refrigerate until cold.


* The ingredients in this salad sound very strange and I was unsure the first time I tried it, but WOW what a great taste. * Adding or deleting any fruit from this recipe will change the flavor completely. This blend of fruit and ingredients will give you a one of a kind to die for fruit salad. * Adding more cherries than what is called for will give your fruit salad a "bite". (Cherries have a slightly "hot" effect when to many are used).
