  • Remove (slice) tops of green peppers, remove insides and wash out seeds. Cook rice; blend in well with ground beef and garlic powder, set aside. Slice onion medium thickness and tops of green peppers, saute and place on top of both cans of sauce in pot. Heat on low.
  • Divide meat and rice mixture into three portions and roll each into ball. Stuff one ball into each green pepper and clean green pepper with paper towel. Place stuffed green peppers onto dish, sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake for 40 minutes at 325 degrees F. Stir sauce and ladle most into 8x10 glass dish. Place stuffed green peppers standing up in sauce in dish and spoon remaining sauce over green peppers covering all. Bake dish for 20 minutes at 325 degrees F. Turn oven up to 350 degrees F. and bake for 7 more minutes.
