  • In a large mixing bowl place the ground sirloin, flavored bread crumbs, beaten eggs. Mix with your hands until evenly blended. Form 6 burger patties and broil or grill until medium well.
  • Toast or grill the cut side of each roll; spread mayo on both cut parts of each roll. Place one piece of Romaine on each roll bottom and top with 1 slice of cheese and a tomato slice. Add a burger to each and spoon on the guacomole; then salsa.
  • Place the bun tops on each and serve with a pickle and potato chips or your favorite potato or mac salad and Enjoy!

Special Equipment Needed


No salt or pepper or other seasoning is needed. The salsa and flavored bread crumbs take care of the seasoning. The lettuce, cheese and tomato are placed on the bottom to prevent having the sandwich filling "slide" from the bun. A great meal that takes a short time to prepare and serve as you can make your favorite salad a day ahead to accompany the burger; Or simply open a bag of chips and a jar of pickles. The Kaiser rolls are best for this type of burger as they are a little larger than the standard burger roll and will take the extra moisture from the salsa.
