  • Cook macaroni as to directions on the bag or box. I prefer al dente so the pasta isn't soggy.
  • A few minutes before you cook macaroni, fry bacon until crip then crumble it and return to the pan. Sautee the onion with the bacon.
  • Never rinse the macaroni, but drain it then add the cooked ingredients, tomatoes, and seasonings.

Special Equipment Needed


This will make a generous amount of a side meal dish or use as a main dish. Accompany a green salad, bread and butter or garlic bread and you have a nice meal for two with leftover servings a day or so later. This is a recipe my Dad enjoyed making. He had his own name for it but I prefer my own.
