  • Prepare cake as directed on box using the reserved liquid from pineapple in place of water. Bake as directed.
  • Whip pudding, cream cheese, and milk. Refrigerate while cake is baking.
  • On cooled cake spread cream cheese mixture on top of cake. Spread pineapple on top of cheese mixture. Frost cake with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut. Keep refrigerated.

    OMG!!! Excellent, except I heated the pineapple and then cooled the cake before adding cream cheese mixture and whipped topping! Everyone loved it!
