  • 1. Preheat oven 325°F. Mix sugar and butter well. Add egg and vanilla. Slowly stir in flour and baking soda. Add chocolate chips and walnuts.
  • 2. Place on baking sheets.
  • 3. Bake 8-10 minutes.**

Notes

*walnuts may be substituted for 1 cup chocolate chips, so if your out of walnuts, use 2 cups chocolate chips. **cookies will be better if they appear and feel soft after coming out of oven, don't think they're too raw they cook as they cool down.
