This recipe was one of my grandmother's Christmas specialties. She used the lime Jell-O in the 60's. When Jell-O introduced "blue" Jell-O, I began making it for the 4th of July. I usually make it on Christmas Eve night or the night before I plan to serve it. It's always a hit....as the colors make it very appealing, and it tastes great, too!
