  • Preheat oven to 350. Cook macaroni according to box directions.
  • Using a 13 x 9 glass pan, layer some thin chunks of butter on bottom, then add layer of macaroni. Place cut squares of cheese (cut on small end) on top by placing one mozzarella, then one colby, until covered. I usually put about 9 slices, but you may put as many as you wish. Then salt & pepper liberally.
  • Now make a new layer with butter, macaroni, cheese, and salt & pepper. Make one more layer if you have enough room, and splash with enough milk to keep moistened while baking.
  • Bake for approx 20-25 minutes or until thoroughly melted.
