  • Beat eggs, sugar, and salt with mixer until it is light & fluffy. Dissolve the cornstarch in a little of the milk and put in the liquid mixture before you start to cook it.
  • Gradually add mixture to milk in a large sauce pan; cook over low heat until mixture reaches boiling point (stir constantly - all this burns easily). Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows; pet milk, cream and vanilla.
  • Cool; then put in frig to get cold; then pour in your 6 quart freezer (ice cream maker) and make.

This was Abby’s recipe; I got it from her in 1981. You can make the cooked ingredients ahead of time and put in the fridge. This is for a 6 quart freezer (ice cream maker).
