  • Preheat oven to 450. Season breasts and dredge in egg mixture followed by the bread crumbs. Meanwhile heat oil in skillet. Lightly brown coated breasts until chicken is slightly white and bread crumbs are golden.
  • Place browned chicken breasts in a greased 9x12 glass dish. Lightly sprinkle with a handful of mozzarella. Cover breasts only with about 1/4 of the spaghetti sauce. Cook for approximately 20-25 minutes in preheated oven.
  • Meanwhile cook spaghetti/linguine noodles and warm remaining spaghetti sauce. Remove chicken from oven, top with remaining cheese and bake for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Serve with the spaghetti and extra sauce.

    My "picky-eater" son fell in love with this dish at a restaurant, and I've been trying to recreate the experience ever since. This is the one! I used Italian seasoning, added more cheese, and coated the bottom of the pan with sauce before baking. It was so delicious that it spurred my first rating ever! Thanks for sharing!

    This is an amazing dish! It is so delicious and easy to make! For the breadcrumb package, I used 2/3 cup Italian breadcrumbs and 1/3 cup parmesan cheese. I also added more mozarella cheese on top of the breaded chicken. This is going on my dinner rotation! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! :)

    Very good and very easy. Tasted restaurant style and my husband was very impressed. I did add extra cheese also.
