  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine both pie crusts, and roll out into a rectangular shape, 1/4 inch thick, then brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter and set aside.
  • Melt 5 tablespoons butter in medium saucepan, add remaining ingredients, and stir until well blended and thick. Spread nut mixture on rolled pie crust, leaving a 1/2 inch margin on all sides. Roll filled pie crust jelly roll style and seal edges with cold water (use fingertips). Brush top with melted butter.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet, and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Slice on an angle and serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream (optional).
