  • Drain the chick peas; reserve 1/2 cup liquid. Blend or process 10 minutes until well creamed.
  • Mash garlic and add along with the remaining ingredients. Blend/process additional five minutes. If mixture seems too thick, add reserved liquid.
  • Pour into a shallow serving bowl. Sprinkle with additional olive oil and decorate the top with parsley and cumin/paprika. Serve as a dip with lavash (Armenian bread) or wedges of pita bread.
