  • Freeze 1/2 can of pineapple juice in Jell-O mold or bundt pan. Add cherries to juice for color. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
  • Put tea bags & 1 cup water in pan on stove and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes, then add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add final cup of cold water, almond extract & lemon juice. Stir & put in punch bowl. Add 2-liter bottle of 7UP to tea mixture.
  • When ready to serve punch, remove Jell-0 mold from freezer and set in warm water for few minutes to loosen. Add to punch mixture & stir occasionally to mix slowly melting pineapple ring.

Notes

Be sure to freeze pineapple ring ahead of time. For large group, freeze two rings to keep punch cold.
