  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 1. Cover the inside of a large baking casserole dish with low fat, non-stick spray. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts. Lay them side by side in the casserole dish. Set aside.
  • 3. Place Kraft Thousand Island Dressing, jam, and onion soup in your blender. Blend, adding milk as needed, to achieve a smooth, consistency. Pour this blended sauce over each of your chicken breasts. (Optional: Sprinkle pecans on top.) Cover.
  • 3. Place on a middle rack in your heated oven. Bake covered for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes, until chicken is well-cooked and browned.

Special Equipment Needed


If your casserole dish does not have an ovenproof lid, you will need aluminum foil. Sticking to a Low Fat Diet?... Purchase skinless chicken breasts - or - Skin your chicken breasts before placing them in your baking dish. Trying to eat Low Carb? Use Low Carb Jam or Jelly instead of those made with sugar. Serve hot over bed of rice. Makes a nice meal with a salad and sauted green beans. Need to feed more or less than six? ...This recipe can be easily adjusted up by adding up to two medium sized chicken breasts. Just pour sauce over chicken a little more sparingly. This recipe has been a family favorite for years. It always brings raves and requests! I’ve used it a number of times when we’ve given special dinners but didn't have hours for the kitchen. We used the recipe for serving a large Church dinner once. And, I adapted it for an hors d'oevores at my daughter's wedding. It always comes out delicious!
