  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine both pie crusts, and roll out into a rectangular shape, 1/4 inch thick, then brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter and set aside. Melt 5 tablespoons butter in medium saucepan, add remaining ingredients, and stir until well blended and thick. Spread nut mixture on rolled pie crust, leaving a 1/2 inch margin on all sides. Roll filled pie crust jelly roll style and seal edges with cold water (use fingertips). Brush top with melted butter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Slice on an angle and serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream (optional).
