  • Prepare and bake yellow cake according to directions on box in a 13 x 9 in. pan. Allow cake to cool to room temperature. Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over cooled cake.
  • In a separate bowl, mix JELL-O Strawberry Flavored Gelatin Powder with hot water and strawberry soda until powder is completely dissolved. Pour mixture evenly over cake. Cover cake and refrigerate until cooled.
  • Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix JELL-O Vanilla Pudding whisk with 2 cups cold milk according to directions on package and refrigerate for 5 minutes until it has chilled and thickened.
  • After pudding has chilled, fold in tub of COOL WHIP with pudding until both are completely combined. After cake has completely chilled in refrigerator, cover entire cake with Cool Whip mixture and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries if desired. Enjoy!!

You can also use different flavors of JELL-O Gelatin and Pudding. Try using cherry flavored JELL-O Gelatin and cherry soda with cheesecake flavored pudding to create a cherry cheesecake flavor.
