  • In very large bowl, beat 6 teaspoons dry egg whites with 6 tablespoons water until very stiff peaks form (meringue style). Place in refrigerator to chill.
  • Combine Jell-O with 2/3 cup boiling water and mix till dissolved. Place in refrigerator till cool (do not let it set. If it does, place in microwave about 6-7 seconds and mix)
  • Take chilled egg whites and began to beat with mixer on high. Slowly pour Jell-O into the egg whites (this will make the egg whites even more fluffy). Continue to beat until a very smooth mixture is made. Place fluff stuff in refrigerator till set. Or freeze for a “sherbet style” treat!


This is a VERY low calorie, low carb, fat free, very filling and satisfying treat. You can freeze it for a sherbet like dessert. I created this recipe in my search for something that tasted good and could be eaten by diabetics like myself without worry. It works with so many flavors! -- As a treat, add some additional flavor extracts. My favorite is Orange Jell-O with pineapple!
