  • In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in 1 cup of the warm water. Add pudding mix, butter, salt and 2 cups of bread flour. Mix well using a mixer with a dough hook attachment or knead by hand; gradually add remaining bread flour alternately with the remaining half cup of warm water.
  • Knead for five minutes after last addition of flour. Form dough into a ball and cover surface with the olive oil. Cover; place in warm, draft free area and let rise for 30 minutes. While dough is rising, coat muffin tins (for 16 rolls) with food release spray.
  • Fold risen dough over several times to deflate. Form into round rolls and place in prepared muffin tins. Let rolls rise uncovered in warm draft free area for 40 minutes.
  • While rolls are rising, preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake rolls for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Special Equipment Needed


If dough becomes too stiff to knead while alternately adding the bread flour and warm water, add just enough additional warm water (1 -2 tablespoons) to keep dough kneadable.
