  • Rinse and clean thawed turkey. Prepare oven bag by shaking flour (to prevent oven bag from bursting).
  • Place turkey in oven bag. Pour 2 bottles of A.1. Cajun Style Marinade in turkey cavity and over turkey. Make sure sauce is rubbed into complete cavity. Let sit in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning turkey occasionally.
  • Pour off excess marinade prior to baking. Slice 3 small slits in top of oven bag to allow for expansion. Bake turkey as directed by weight on oven bag directions.

Special Equipment Needed


Turkey skin will be blackened when done baking, and not very attractive, but the flavor and texture of the meat is excellent!
