  • Rinse orange slices in water. Shake off any leftover water. Put the 1/4 cup Splenda sugar in a zipper-type bag and place orange slices inside. Shake until coated. Place aside. Refrigerate if needed, but not recommended.
  • Then melt 2 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate in microwave-able bowl for about three minutes. Place cherries in with spoon, stir and pour chocolate over cherries until completely covered. Place on wax paper and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  • Once chocolate is hardened around cherries, place 1 mint pattie at the end of the kabob splint. Add 1 sugared orange slice and the three cherries. Then add 2nd orange slice and final mint pattie. Enjoy!

Special Equipment Needed

This is a favorite recipe of mine, because not only does it have great tasting fresh fruit, it uses Splenda sugar, a healthier way to sweeten! I created this recipe on my own and I think it's a collection of citrus fruit, a sweet taste, a burst of mint and, everyone's favorite-chocolate! Melting the chocolate and coating the cherries on your own is a fun way to get involved with your dessert! I want to go to school to become a dessert chef, and since I'm only 11, I have a lot of time to experiment! Enjoy!
