  • In a microwavable shallow casserole, combine carrots, broth, onion, corn, peas and celery and microwave on high for 2 minutes until vegetables are tender and crisp (you can do this on the stove top as well). Combine milk and flour and stir to dissolve flour and cook until thickened. Combine vegetables, chicken and seasonings in casserole.
  • In small bowl combine Bisquick and water. Drop batter by tablespoons onto meat and vegetable mixture.
  • Bake in oven at 375°F until biscuits are browned or until toothpick inserted in center of dumpling comes out clean, approx. 30-40 minutes.

Special Equipment Needed


You can make more of the dumplings but remember to add a little more broth.
