  • Boil shells in water until al dente or desired softness. Cook ground beef in pan with onions, Italian red pepper, Italian seasoning until no longer pink. Add tomato sauce to ground beef; simmer over low heat while shells continue to cook.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray casserole pan with non stick cooking spray. Pour 1/4 of Alfredo sauce into casserole pan. Drain shells; pour on top of Alfredo sauce in casserole pan. Add tomato sauce and ground beef mixture to top of shells. Add additional Alfredo sauce to desired taste, mix all ingredients together. Pour mozzarella cheese onto casserole mixture.
  • Place lid over casserole pan, place in oven and bake for 35 minutes or until cheese is melted to desired likeness.

This dish is great if you are looking for a quick alternative to traditional lasagna. It also works for those who dislike ricotta cheese, as my family does. The Alfredo sauce adds a nice flavor and texture to the pasta dish and the ground beef is really simple to make for those who don't have a lot of time during the week to cook.
