  • Preheat oven to 300°F. In saucepan combine peaches, 1 cup sugar and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 8-10 min, stirring occasionally.
  • Melt butter in 13x9 pan in oven. In bowl, stir 3/4 cup sugar and flour and mix well. Add milk and continue stirring to prevent lumps. Pour batter directly over melted butter in baking pan. DO NOT STIR. Spoon fruit on top of batter and gently pour remaining liquid on top. DO NOT STIR. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  • Bake in oven 30-45 min or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipping cream. THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS ARE THE DO NOT STIR AREAS.

Special Equipment Needed


1 can (28 oz.) peaches in heavy syrup, undrained can be used in place of fresh peaches, sugar and water. Frozen peach slices can also be used as fresh.
