  • 1. Brush beaten egg white on to graham pie crust and bake at 375°F for five minutes.
  • 2. Combine key lime juice & marmalade. Microwave 2 minutes till boiling. Stir in Jell-O Gelatin for 3 minutes, stir in 2 ice cubes, chill till it becomes a slurry.
  • 3. Beat milk & amaretto in mixing bowl. Then add Jell-O Lemon Instant Pudding. Beat for 3 minutes then blend in Jell-O slurry and mix well.
  • 4. Fold Cool Whip into Jell-O in mixing bowl, blend well, scoop into pie shell and smooth out. Refrigerate: 6 hours. Cut into 8 slices and serve to your family and/or guest.

Substitute Lime Jell-O Gelatin on March 17th for "Saint Patrick's Day" and it is miraculously transformed into Larry's Famous Irish Key Lime Pie. Also, you can substitute sugar free JELL-O Products, 1 tsp. almond extract in place of amaretto liquor and real whipping cream in place of Cool Whip for diabetics! Larry's Key Lime Pie is scrumptious, easy to make and uses almost all Kraft products. It is a big hit among my family and friends in the "First State". "Enjoy" ...ljjd...

This mainly tastes like a lemon pie slightly flavored with key lime. The amaretto seeps into the crust. There is a ton of extra topping that does not fit in a 9" pie crust. Did not find this recipe comparable to any key lime pie that I've tasted (restaurant as well as frozen).

Believe me when I say that I've tasted many variations of keylime pie and this one, by far, surpasses all of them. I had this recipe at the last dinner party I attended and couldn't stop eating!!

A feastable for entertaining. The perfect blend of sweet and sour (tart) for the taste buds. Very creamy texture, melts in your mouth. The lime green color would compliment any table setting, any time of year. Two-thumbs up!
